So here's a delightful episode from Mandiland.
It was February 2024. I tuned in to On the Roam, the new show starring my fantasy dreamboat, Jason Momoa. As if I didn't love him enough already, the show turned out to be about him honoring and supporting creative people who make unique, handmade, beautiful things with their hands.
Which made me significantly hotter for him. Obviously.
And THEN. AND THEN. I learned something that made my face explode directly into a cloud of glitter.
His favorite color is pink!!!!!!!!!!!
I squealed. Audibly. At my television.
Because then this man went and spent a ridiculous amount of money having an incredible antique Harley-Davidson fully restored, and he asked for it to be painted PINK. And he showed up to receive it wearing a gorgeous pink jacket and the funkiest, coolest black and white pants ever made.
And there it was, right in front of my face: pink, white, black Momoa. I absolutely love pink, white, and black because, duh, Barbie. So I had to whip out my paint brushes and immortalize the moment where he sat down for the first time on this masterpiece of a motorcycle. And the way he seemed to cherish it and appreciate the craftsmanship made me nine million times more obsessed with him.
Totally my favorite painting I've ever done.
